Capital Southeast Connector route selection

The El Dorado Hills Citizens Alliance and the Four Seasons Civic League have adopted a joint resolution supporting the Connector, opposing its currently planned use of White Rock Road as an inter-regional traffic connection through El Dorado Hills, and supporting development and study of alternative alignments.

The most compelling need is for inter-regional traffic on the Connector to bypass the traffic-critical areas of El Dorado Hills in the Town Center, Business Park, and Valley View Specific Plan residential areas. The El Dorado Hills road network will make the intersection of Latrobe Road and White Rock Road our most traffic-sensitive point in the near future. It already has a multi-year history of operation at Level Of Service F, producing unacceptable delay time, in peak periods.
