Assemblymember Huber Invites Residents to El Dorado County Transportation Commission Town Hall in El Dorado Hills on Oct. 6th

EL DORADO HILLS – Assemblymember Alyson Huber would like residents to know they are invited to attend a town hall meeting to discuss the structure of the El Dorado County Transportation Commission (EDCTC) on October 6th at the El Dorado Hills Library.

El Dorado County Transportation Commission Town Hall Meeting
Tuesday, October 6th
6:00 pm
El Dorado Hills Library
7455 Silva Valley Parkway

Currently, the EDCTC is governed by six voting members; three supervisors appointed by the county’s Board of Supervisors and three Placerville City Councilmembers based on a model implemented in 1971 and codified into state statute in 1996.

Since the population trends within the county have changed dramatically since 1995, this town hall is being held to question whether the current structure of the commission adequately represents the residents of the entire county or if changes should be made.

Currently, legislation is pending before the legislature, and your opinion and feedback is needed.
